Phase 1: Building Your Core Stability

Stability is essential to overall fitness. The balance it provides enables you to perform all of your daily activities, from rising in the morning to climbing every stair you come to during your day. 

You’ll need good balance to use effective form while exercising, and many advanced exercise programs require you to develop excellent balance first. Whether your goal is cardiovascular fitness, weight loss, or muscle building, this is true.

Stability is the foundation for everything you want to achieve and one of the most important first steps to getting serious about lifelong fitness.

Your current stability will be evaluated during your personal training and fitness assessment so we can create the best custom plan for your current fitness levels. For most clients, this means focusing on the major muscle groups, such as the core, shoulders, hips, and knees. 

Over time, you’ll reduce your risk of injury from falls and develop quicker reaction times due to improvements in stability. You’ll be ready for phase 2 and develop your potential strength in a short time.

Phase 2: Building your Strength from the Ground Up

Your core muscles are the source of your body’s power. Better core strength can improve your general comfort while exercising and allow you to do more advanced strength training exercises, which may be part of your eventual fitness journey. 

Your core isn’t just your abs; it includes four major muscle groups that are found around the spine, torso, butt, and belly. Your strength-building program will be fully customized for your needs and goals with exercises that have stood the test of time.

Your training program may include planks, squats, deadlifts, push-ups, pull-ups, and other exercises that have a proven effect on developing core strength. Strength training feels great, and our program can help you see and feel results in a short time. When your core strength is coming along, you’ll be ready to start building your hypertrophy.

Phase 3: Boosting Hypertrophy for Maximum Muscle Growth

Hypertrophy refers to a real, measurable increase in the size of your muscle cells when exposed to the right kind of personal training and fitness programs. The increase in the size of cells leads to an overall increase in muscle mass.

The effects of hypertrophy can be visible to the eye. You’ll notice a difference in your muscle size if you commit to enough fitness training sessions to achieve results. Remember, achieving hypertrophy can take a long time, depending on your body composition. According to some research, it takes more than 10 personal training sessions to start seeing hypertrophy.

Our certified personal trainers use some of the most time-tested and proven exercises to help you develop your muscles in this stage, such as dumbbell shrugs, hammer curls, cable curls, and lying leg raises. Your training package will be built around the workout that best fits your current experience level.

Once your overall muscle mass has increased, you’ll be in a good place to start building your highest potential strength.

Phase 4: Building Your Maximal Strength

When you have moved through all of the other phases, you are ready for some of the most difficult-to-achieve goals in fitness training. One of these goals is revealing the true power that your body is capable of through maximal strength training.

You’ll be ready for this phase when you’ve developed the stability and core power that were the focus of the previous stages. You’ll now be able to produce more force so that you can do strength-maximizing exercises with a spotter.

Our trainers will guide you through high-impact exercises specifically designed for your workout plan. You and your trainer will work together to decide how quickly you want to progress in developing maximum strength, and which exercises are most likely to help you achieve your goals.
